The Village of Somewhere, NY is nestled on the very southern end of Some Lake, which is in the Finger Lakes region of Western New York. With close to 1,600 permanent residents and thousands of visitors per year has made Somewhere a favorite place to live and visit. Somewhere, originally named "Salubria", was settled in 1791 and incorporated in 1842. It was not until 1852 the Village changed it's name to "Somewhere" in honor of Dr. Sam Somewhere, who was a passionate promotor of the area. Home to gorgeous parks, a newly renovated downtown area hosting local shops and restaurants, fantastic lodging, and much more, Somewhere, NY truly is "New York Village Tag Line."
